Protect Voters’ Rights

Voting is a fundamental right and a very important part of our democracy. No one should have to fear suppression tactics. I will fight to assure that these rights are protected.

Gun Control

There are too many deaths due to gun violence. We must change the laws to protect our citizens. Everyone should not have a gun. I will fight to keep guns out of the hands of those who have mental issues, those under 18; work to ban ghost guns and assault weapons.

Equal Rights for Women, Minorities, and LGBTQ

We should all have the fundamental rights of our Constitution. I will work to see that those rights are protected.

Police Reform

Too many minorities are being shot, killed or mistreated by the police. Accountability and reform is necessary to assure that citizens are treated like people. I will fight for National Standards for the police.

Infrastructure

This is America. The richest Country in the world. Our roads and bridges should not be compromised due to the lack of age and upkeep. I will fight for the budget increases necessary.

Access to Healthcare for All

All people should have the right to be treated if they are ill, or just have routine healthcare. I will fight to be sure that everyone have access to affordable health care.

Quality Education for All Children

The world is changing. Our schools should be top notch and the students should be ready for a changing world. I will work to be sure that laws are in place which will ensure that no student will be left behind.

Farming

Farming is important for our livelihood as well as provide jobs. I will fight to be sure that the farmers are not forgotten. I will work to assure that the resources needed to remain viable and successful are provided.

Environment and Clean Water

I will work to protect our environment. We must have standards to assure that these valuable resources are protected.

Immigration

There should be a pathway to citizenship. I will support efforts involving the home country and the U.S. as the procedures are developed.

The Economy and Jobs

It is crucial that we boost opportunities for our citizens. I will fight for training opportunities to retrain our workforce for the new job market.

Criminal Justice Reform

Sentencing Guidelines must be addressed. The United States has the largest prison population in the world. I will work to change this and work for rehabilitation of individuals.
